Do I need to be a member of the specific Topguest partner points programs, such as Hilton HHonors?

To get points, no. To claim them, yes. Topguest will automatically assign points to you whenever you check-in at one of that program’s participating Top Spots whether or not you’re a member of a given points program. However, to claim those points, you will need to enter your program number for the given program into Topguest. Simply click on the programs page, navigate to the Partner name and enter your membership number.

If you’re not a member of the program yet, Topguest provides a link for you to sign up on the programs page. The points you received via Topguest should show up on your first statement from that program.

How do the points get deposited into my program accounts, such as Priority Club, HHonors, Virgin Elevate, etc?

Topguest automatically deposits the points you earn from check-ins into your points program accounts. Occasionally there is a delay of up to 6 weeks between when you earn the points and when they show up in your account balances, depending on the particular software used by our program partners.

Is there a limit on how many points I can get with Topguest?

Each individual program has its own terms and conditions but, unless otherwise stated, there is a limit of one check-in award per program, per day. The number of check-in awards you can earn for a location may also be limited.

What is Topguest’s fair use policy?

The spirit of Topguest is to reward members for actually visiting Topguest partner locations and interacting with those brands, then sharing their experience with their friends on their favorite social networks.

Topguest flags activity based on a number of tests. These include looking for check-ins that are unreasonably frequent, impossible to make based on velocity, the friends with which the users shared their check-ins, and whether a user is checking into a venue that is not known to exist at the address where the venue was created.

Can I check into my room for the night online, through Topguest?

No. Topguest allows you to earn points and rewards for telling your friends that you're at a particular hotel or airport venue. You must still check-in at the front desk when you arrive.
